Tuesday Track 4/26
Let’s do a ladder – 400, 800, 1600, 800, 400 – These are the intervals. Recovery is half the interval or less, up to the individual. Remember that you want to do a recovery (walk or jog) so that you can run the interval as fast as you can.
This is training, so you do not have to beat the person in front of you. Train to beat that person in a race. Keep a record of your times and try to improve each week.
There are two (2) ways to get faster. Increase your turnover rate or increase your stride length.
